Occupation: I work as a postman. I'm not sure if that keeps me fit for walking or vice versa.

Local Walking Areas: North Downs and the Thames. I have walked the North Downs Way and the Thames Path as a series of day walks.

Favourite Walking Areas: Snowdonia, Western Highlands

Comments: I started walking in my early teens - dragged out by Mum and Dad to the Yorkshire and Derbyshire Dales. Further afield I have walked in Australia and South Africa. My favourite kind of walking is using crampons up a hard neve slope to a West Highland summit on a clear winter day.
