Walking Areas: Most of my walking is in Scotland. I've also been to the Alps fairly often as well as England, Wales and Ireland.

Interests: As well as walking I do a bit of climbing, some ski-touring, occasional downhill, quite a lot of hill-running and lots of hill-watching.

Comments: The recent U.S. trip was a piece of good fortune - I had a paper to present at a conference at Lake Tahoe so I added on an extra week to visit a friend in Reno and had a couple of days in Yosemite.
